One of the main factors promoting cellular aging is oxidative stress caused by free radicals.

These very reactive compounds are able to damage cellular structures and disrupt processes that are vital for the cells.

Free radicals are naturally generated within the organism in higher amounts in times of stress, physical strain and illness. External stressors like pollution, exposure to UV rays, smoking, consumption of alcohol and intake of medicine also increase oxidative burden and contribute to premature cell aging.

Vitamin E is often called the “anti-aging” vitamin, because it contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Being a lipid-soluble Vitamin, Vitamin E intercepts and neutralizes harmful free radicals even before they can reach and cause damage in the cells.

Each capsule of Doppelherz aktiv Vitamin E contains 200 mg α-tocopherol from native sunflower oil, which correspond to 300 IU of Vitamin E. Natural Vitamin E is particularly well absorbed and used by our cells. The intake of a single capsule per day helps refilling cells with powerful, yet natural Vitamin E. This ensures maximum cell protection, contributes to slowing down cell aging, and supports a healthy and young-looking skin from within.
