Garlic, mistletoe and hawthorn
Garlic – botanically Allium sativum – originally comes from West Asia and is considered one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world. Garlic was already valued for nutrition in ancient Egypt. Even in our regions, it has been very popular for a long time. However, many people avoid consumption because they find the strong smell unpleasant.
In addition to a garlic preparation, the capsules also contain hawthorn (botanically Crataegus), whose red fruits convince with their sweet-and-sour taste and are edible.
The capsules from Doppelherz Garlic Capsules with hawthorn dissolve only in the small intestine thanks to their gastric juice-resistant coating, due to a special manufacturing process. As a result, they are largely odorless and pleasant to take.
What is an oil macerate?
For centuries, the process of maceration has been used to extract valuable active ingredients from raw materials. When producing an oil macerate, finely chopped plant parts are soaked in a defined amount of vegetable oil. During the maceration process, the fat-soluble components of the plant pass into the oil.
Children from 12 years of age and adults take 1–2 capsules three times daily with sufficient liquid, without chewing.
The recommended daily intake must not be exceeded.
Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Keep out of reach of small children.
