One of these nutrients is silica which participates in the structure of skin, hair, bones and cartilages. Its bioavailable form silica dioxide is found at high concentrations in siliceous earth (also called diatomite), a 100 % natural product used in the Doppelherz® aktiv Siliceous earth tablets.
Calcium and magnesium are supplied in a 2:1 ration, which ensures an optimal assimilation of these essential minerals. Calcium is required for bone maintenance and cell division and Magnesium for a proper function of protein and energy-yielding metabolism.
Biotin is a vitamin essential for the biosynthesis of certain proteins: for example, biosynthesis of keratin, which is one of the main constituent of hair and nails partly depends on a normal biotin supply.
Zinc not only plays an important role in function of the immune system:
as a cofactor, zinc also enables activity of more than 200 enzymes including those involved in collagen synthesis. Zinc is therefore active in maintaining normal skin structure and skin repair mechanisms.
Through its involvement in collagen biosynthesis, copper is required for the formation and the function connective tissue. Moreover, copper participates in the maintenance of hair and skin pigmentation.
Take 2 tablets daily at meal with enough liquid. Do not chew.
The tablets can be divided into two halves, if necessary.
